Durham NC Home Sales

Tuesday, June 27th, 2006

Good news on the Durham real estate market.  Numbers from the Durham MLS listings reflect a strong real estate market.   In spite of the press attention on the Duke Lacrosse scandal and controversy over the DA’s election, homes in Durham are showing great value.  The average sales price for homes in Durham County in the first five months of this year was $198,590, and the median price was $170,000.

Beautiful neighborhoods like Old Hope Valley and Croasdaile Farm have wonderful luxury homes.   Woodcroft, Woodlake and Hope Valley are classic neighborhoods to raise your family.

Contact me if you are buying or selling your Durham home.   If you are selling, I’ll prepare a detailed comparative marketing analysis to determine your home’s best value.  If you are looking to buy a home or relocate to Durham, I’ll take you through the process start to finish.  Finding the best neighborhood, the top Durham school and the special home for my new neighbors is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
