Chapel Hill Realtor: Congratulations Graduates!

Wednesday, May 7th, 2008

This is a big weekend in Chapel Hill — it is graduation time again and you can see them already lining up in their blue robes at the Old Well for their family photos.  This weekend will see a huge influx of guests to our town - welcome!

Check out the UNC website for more information about Commencement at Kenan Stadium or the PhD Hooding Ceremony at Memorial Hall.

And, of course, there is always that other little school down the road that will also have a graduation this weekend!  We can’t forget to wish our friends a Duke a wonderful day as well.

If you need information about Chapel Hill real estate - call Reg Morgan.  Many of my clients are relocations from other states and towns.  Often there is a connection to Chapel Hill that has pulled them back.  I certainly understand that and would love to talk to you about the Southern Part of Heaven!

Nasher Museum in Durham

Tuesday, August 8th, 2006

The Nasher Museum at Duke University has been a remarkable addition to the community.  Situated on the campus of Duke University, next to the very beautiful Sarah P. Duke Gardens, the building itself, by architect, Rafael Vinoly is worth seeing on its own.  But make sure you step inside and see the amazing permanent collection and special exhibits.

Don’t forget to make plans for lunch at the Nasher Cafe run by top area caterer, Sage & Swift.    After a fabulous meal, take a drive to see the beautiful older homes in the neighborhood.  Durham has some beautiful luxury homes and executive properties.   Call me, Reg Morgan to talk about the Durham real estate market.  Check here for the latest Durham MLS listings.

The Renaissance Computing Institute - Renci for short is an amazing institution located in the Research Triangle Park in North Carolina.  A collaborative effort of UNC - Chapel Hill, Duke University, NC State and the state of North Carolina.   A great part of the economic development of this area and what makes us a leader in computer initiatives.   Take a look at their website - you’ll find it really interesting.

Take a look at my website if you are interested in buying or selling real estate in Chapel Hill, Durham or Wake Counties.  With over 20 years of experience in real estate sales — and as a Certified Relocation Professional (CRP), I can make your move to the Research Triangle Park a successful one.
