Meadowmont NC

Tuesday, July 25th, 2006

One of the best neighborhoods in Chapel Hill is Meadowmont Village.    Meadowmont real estate options include a variety of town homes, condos, craftsmen style bungalows and luxury properties.   All are located close to the new Chapel Hill School, Rashkis Elementary.

And for shopping and recreation, it can’t be beat.  We love the UNC Wellness Center for a good workout or an indoor swim.  And in this heat we cool off at the Meadowmont Club — where our oldest son is learning to swim this Summer!   Great lifeguards and very patient swim teachers!    After a swim we indulge ourselves at Lickety Split for some ice cream.

Monday, July 24th, 2006

It may be hot out there, but t’s never too hot for golf!

I’ll be out on the links tomorrow with a favorite client.    He recently sold his home in Downing Creek, but we’ll get in one more round at Finley before he leaves!  There are some great golf course communities in North Carolina — Governors Club, Brier Creek and Treyburn are just some that have beautiful courses and luxury homes.

As a Chapel Hill realtor, I know there are many reasons to buy a home — and good golf courses can be one of them!

The Chapel Hill-Carrboro school board recently named Jeff Thomas principal of the new Carrboro High School.  The new school will open in August of next year.
