Lake Hogan Farms is a great Chapel Hill neighborhood.   Pool, tennis and over 300 acres of beautiful hills, grassy fields and forest - right in the heart of Chapel Hill.  Obviously, I’m not alone in thinking Lake Hogan Farms could make an ideal home for singles, couples or families — the neighborhood was one of the top three subdivisions for Chapel Hill home sales in 2005.

Meadowmont Chapel Hill Home Values

Meadowmont is a wonderful neighborhood in Chapel Hill.   There is a great mix of shops and restaurants, luxury homes by some of our top builders, town homes and craftsmen style bungalows.  We love working out at the UNC Wellness Center, going to the pool at the Meadowmont Club and dinner at Lickety Split or Brixx.

The Meadowmont area of Chapel Hill was one of the three top selling neighborhoods in Chapel Hill last year.  Average sales prices were high here at $730,916.

Raleigh and Cary Real Estate - Housing Market Update

The National Association of Realtors (NAR) came out with housing numbers for the second quarter and it is all good news for Raleigh and Cary homeowners.  Housing prices in Raleigh and Cary were up 12.1%, with the median home price at $207,000.    These numbers compare with the relatively flat numbers across the country and a 4.1% increase in the South.

Newsweek has named our own UNC - Chapel Hill as one of the 25 “new ivies”.    Based on interviews with faculty, admissions staff and students, the article highlights the top 25 schools that it heralds as worthy of ivy league status.

Move in day at UNC-Chapel Hill
