Chapel Hill Realtor Looks at Local Market

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

I have always been bullish on our Chapel Hill real estate market - but my thoughts were confirmed in an interesting article in the Chapel Hill News this past weekend.   The writer points out that Chapel Hill is a continuiing bright spot for the local and state real estate market.   And while it is not quite as robust as in quarters past, there are still opportunities for good deals for buyers and sellers.   The market here is pretty bullet-proof and if the Fed moves rates down today as expected (and hoped for!!) the market shoiuld see another burst of activity.

If you have questions about our local real estate market, call me, Reg Morgan.  You can also take a look at my website to see what is on the market now.  I have access there to Chapel Hill MLS listings - and in fact, the entire Triangle.

Chapel Hill Realtor: Great Neighborhoods

Monday, September 17th, 2007

One of the best things about living in Chapel Hill is the different neighborhoods - there are many styles and types of housing to fit every time of life.  Young, single students, families and retirees are just some of the clients I have worked with lately.

A favorite neighborhood is Kent Woodlands.   Larger, family oriented homes, many built by premiere Chapel Hill builder, Zinn Design Build.  The area is zoned for the new Carrboro High School.   Call Reg Morgan for information on Kent Woodlands or other great Chapel Hill neighborhoods.

Chapel Hill Realtor Offers Drought Solution

Saturday, September 15th, 2007

Here in Chapel Hill we love our gardens.  Drive around many neighborhoods like Gimghoul, Southern Village and Meadowmont and you will see some really gorgeous and well maintained gardens.

This Summer’s lack of rain has really hurt us and if we face water restrictions this Fall, you may be wondering what your options are to take care of those beautiful flowers.  One solution is a rain barrel.  55 gallon rain barrels are for sale at Whole Foods Market right here in Chapel Hill.  Call 919-968-1983 for further info.

For more Chapel Hill real estate information continue to read my blog or call Reg Morgan at Prudential Carolinas realty.  With over 20 years of experience in buying and selling real estate, he can help you make the right choice in our complicated market!

Drought in North Carolina

Friday, September 14th, 2007

Finally, some rain in the Triangle.  We’ve been struggling with a drought here all summer and tonight we’re getting a nice soaking.  Should end just in time for tomorrow’s game against UVA at Kenan Stadium.
