Latest weather reports look to put Irene well away from Chapel Hill and Durham.  A great relief for weekend plans and we are hopeful for just a nice dousing rain.  Thinking of all our friends and neighbors at the coast and wishing them well.

The students are back!  The upper classmen have already arrived and now the freshmen have begun to trickle in.  Love seeing the big SUVs loaded up with belongings pulling into town.  Traffic is crazy so be careful this weekend.
