Money Magazine has come out with it’s annual great places to live articles. And I’m afraid that I have to dispute their findings! There is just no place like this Southern Part of Heaven. No place with our great schools, our weather, our restaurants, OUR HEELS! How could we be 40th? (And Cary is 23rd? Go Cary!)

Yes, things take more time to sell and we are not quite getting the prices we may have reached a few years ago. But things are starting to bounce back. Never has the adage “Buyer beware” been more pertinent. Traipsing around looking for a “deal.” This is dangerous. I was working with a well heeled couple and showed them several houses. They weren’t ready to make a commitment to an agent. They ended up buying new construction in a subdivision that is having trouble. Who did they end up trusting? The onsite agent. Oops. She told them what they wanted to hear.
